MANAS WILDLIFE TOUR
6 intensive Gypsy safaris through pristine grasslands and sub-Himalayan forests, tracking rare Black Leopards, One-horned Rhinos, and Asian Elephants.
Wilderness Beneath the Bhutan Hills
Spanning the gentle alluvial floodplains of the Manas River right up to the rugged foothills of the Bhutan Himalayas, Manas National Park is an extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site, Biosphere Reserve, and Project Tiger & Elephant sanctuary.
What sets Manas apart from any other reserve in India is its spellbinding blend of vast elephant grasslands, pristine tropical semi-evergreen canopies, and braided crystal-clear riverbeds. It is also one of India's preeminent strongholds for the mythical Black Leopard (Black Panther). Our 6-safari itinerary dynamically combines regular wilderness drives with specialized black leopard tracking routes tailored to current forest movements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about visiting Manas National Park.
What makes Manas so special for wildlife tracking?
Manas is a contiguous wilderness spanning the international boundary into Royal Manas in Bhutan. It harbors 55 species of mammals, 450 species of birds, and 50 reptiles. Its vast grasslands and tropical evergreen forests create distinct micro-habitats where you can see rhinos in the open plains and leopards on forest trails.
What is the procedure for tracking the Black Leopard?
Our safari combinations are planned directly in response to the latest sighting logs and forest ranger reports. We allocate drives between regular safari zones and high-probability black leopard corridors to give our guests the best possible opportunity to photograph this elusive cat.
How are the Gypsy safaris organized?
All 6 safaris are conducted in government-registered open 4x4 Maruti Gypsys accompanied by a certified park guide and a seasoned driver who knows the terrain and animal behavior thoroughly.
What are the payment terms for booking?
A 50% advance (₹17,500 per person) is required at the time of booking to secure park permits and resort rooms. The remaining 50% balance is payable prior to check-in.
